Scott Montgomery had hoped to win back-to-back $1,000 events. He even dressed up in a blazer for the occasion. However his goal was cut short by our new chip leader, Jason Riesenberg.
Riesenberg had raised to 23,000 preflop and called Montgomery's shove for about 135,000.
Montgomery:
Riesenberg:
The flop came and kept Riesenberga out in the front. Montgomery may have been hoping for a runner-runner chop, which was a possibility with the on the turn.
The on the river sealed the deal, though, and Montgomery went to the cage to collect his winnings while Riesenberg arranged his stack of 920,000 chips.
Mike Beasley had gone all in for 65,000 from the hijack position and was looked up by Wenlong Jin on the button.
Jin:
Beasley:
It didn't take Beasley long to take the lead. He flopped a flush when it came down . Any hopes of a boat for Jin were put to rest with the on the turn. The came on the river for good measure and Beasley is now up to 146,000 while Jin is down to 240,000.

Despite hitting a set on the flop, Busse managed to find a flush by the river, making Lower our first elimination since we redrew to 27. Busse is now sitting with 595,000 chips.
Allan Baekke started the hand off by raising to 27,000 only to have James Kilarjian shove all in for 120,000 from the button. Baekke tanked for a while, but eventually made the call.
Baekke:
Kilarjian:
Baekke may have been dominated preflop, but he spiked an eight on the flop and managed to stay ahead when sweating the turn and river, which came .
