Don't Mess with Obrestad

After a player from under the gun limped, Annette Obrestad made it 425 to go from the button. Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott made the call from the big blind, as did the player under the gun.

The flop came down {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and it was checked to Obrestad who made it 1,100. Both players called and we were on to the turn.

The turn brought the {6-Hearts} and again it was checked to Obrestad who, this time, tossed in a bet of 3,300.

Ulliott took no time folding, but it was the player under the gun who went into the tank. He thought it over and over again in his head but couldn't find the call and eventually folded his hand.

Obrestad is sitting on 18,000 and still has two of her rebuy chips.

Ship it to Deeb

It was two to the flop after Shaun Deeb called an opponent in middle position's raise. As the flop dropped, Deeb told his opponent, "I have 1,100 behind."

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and his opponent bet just that, 1,100. Deeb put his remaining chips in the middle and flipped over {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} against his opponent's {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

Deeb found the help he was looking for when the {8-Hearts} hit the turn. The river brought the {4-Spades} and the pot was shipped to Deeb, who now has 8,400 in his stack.

Griffin Triples Up

Lets cut to the chase. Each player committed 2,775 preflop to see the flop come down {7-Hearts}{J-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

The first player to act after the flop went all in for about 4,000 and Ashton Griffin called all in for about 3,500. Ayaz Mahmood made the call, having both well covered.

Unknown Player: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}
Griffin: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Mahmood: {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Turn: {10-Clubs}
River: {9-Spades}

Mahmood turned a straight, but Griffin rivered a higher one to triple up to about 18,000. Mahmood won a small side pot and has about 28,000, while the unknown player busted and politely said to his former table, "Good luck everybody, play well."

Azor Rolls Over Moneymaker

Five players paid 600 to see a {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. The blinds checked it, and a player in early position bet 1,050. Ran Azor bumped it up to 6,000, and Chris Moneymaker surprised the table by quietly flatting. The blinds and the original bettor got out of the way, and Azor and CMoney went heads up to the {j-Spades} turn. Azor moved all in for his last 800 (with two rebuy chips behind), and Moneymaker called.

Azor: {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for top pair, queen-high flush draw, and open-ended straight draw
Moneymaker: {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for two pair

The {a-Hearts} on the river gave Azor a wheel for the win. Moneymaker dropped to 15,500 with no rebuys left.

Benyamine All In; Wins

A player made it 350 to go and David Benyamine bumped it up to 1,400. His opponent them reraised and called Benyamine's all in.

Benyamine: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board rolled out {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Benyamine took the pot to move his stack up to 9,000.

Donkeybomber Doubles

David Chiu limped, Tom Schneider overlimped the button, and the big blind checked his option. The flop came {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, and it checked around. After the {j-Spades} turn, the big blind bet 600, and Chiu folded. Donkeybomber potted. His opponent moved all in, and he called.

Schneider was ahead with {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for the nut straight, and the {3-Clubs} on the river couldn't improve his opponent's wheel. Schneider doubled to 6,550 and still has one rebuy chip to use.

Gould Gets Mortensen's Chips

Richard Ashby raised to 300 under the gun, and Peter Gould called on the button. Carlos Mortensen joined them from the big blind. The flop fell {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, and action checked to Gould. He bet 600. Mortensen minraised him to 1,200, and after Ashby folded, Gould called. Mortensen checked the {a-Clubs} turn, and Gould bet 2,500. Mortensen called all in for less with {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. He was in pretty terrible shape against Gould's {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. The river bricked, and Mortensen hit the rail just before dinner. Gould, on the other hand, is in great shape with 48,000.
