Sam Trickett Doubles Through Jason Somerville

Sam Trickett opened for 15,000 and Jason Somerville made the call from the small blind.

Somerville checked the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop over to Trickett, who bet 24,000. Somerville check-raised all-in and Tricket called all-in for 264,000. The hands?

Trickett {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Somerville {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The turn was the {K-Diamonds}, completing Trickett's flush. The river was the {Q-Clubs} and Trickett doubled to 540,000 while Somerville fell to 230,500.

Ivey Eliminated

Phil Ivey on Day 1
Phil Ivey on Day 1

Phil Ivey was all in again, but this time there was much more excitement to the hand than just a chop. He was once again pitted against Bryn Kenney. Ivey held two kings -- {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} -- and Kenney the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}.

The flop ran out {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Ivey stayed in front. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and kept Ivey in front. The dealer burned and dealt the river and it came the {A-Hearts}. The way the dealer's arm was positioned in location to where Ivey was in the six seat, Ivey couldn't see the card and didn't know what had come on the river. After the dealer finally moved his arm, Ivey saw the bad news.

"Brutal, I can't see," said Ivey before he got up from his seat and made his way to the exit. Kenney increased to 610,000 in chips.

Bonomo Takes Out Duthie

John Duthie was just eliminated over on the main feature table when he got the last of his money in, about 105,000 or so, with two tens. He was up against the two jacks held by Justin Bonomo. The board ran out with no help for Duthie and he was sent to the rail. Bonomo increased to 660,000 in chips.

Jess Yawitz Eliminated

On a {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts} flop, Daniel Negreanu checked, Jess Yawitz moved all-in and Negreanu called.

Yawitz {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Negreanu {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Negreanu was well ahead with top two pair and Yawitz needed to catch a king or running cards to survive. The turn was the {2-Spades}, the river was the {A-Spades} and Yawitz was eliminated just as the field went on their dinner break.

Negreanu is up to 1,155,000.
