There wasn't much drama on a board of , and Kravchenko has found his double up. He's up to 520,000 now, but that's still the shortest stack at the table.
From the button, Stephen Pierson raised to 80,000, and Ludovic Lacay reraised to 260,000 from the big blind. Pierson called for a significant chunk of his stack, and the two men took a flop of . Lacay continued out with a bet of 200,000, and Pierson shook his head and open-mucked four low double-suited cards.
On the last hand before the break, Dmitry Stelmak and Ville Mattila saw the flop of . Stelmak fired 130,000 and then Mattila tanked. Eventually, he raised the pot to around 600,000. Stelmak folded and Mattila showed the for air.
Alexander Kravchenko raised to 175,000 from the cutoff seat after action folded to him. Ludovic Lacay was in the big blind and made the call.
The flop came down and Lacay fired the pot for 375,000. Kravchenko only had 225,000 behind and went into the tank. Eventually he mucked, showing that he was laying down the , having whiffed the flop pretty bad. He's now got just 4.5 big blinds.
Action folded to Daniel Alaei in the small blind and he made the call. Miguel Proulx checked in the big blind and the two took a monotone flop of . Alaei checked and Proulx checked.
The turn brought the and prompted a bet of 85,000 from Alaei. Proulx mucked and Alaei won the pot.
On the button, Ville Mattila raised to 110,000. Alexander Kravchenko moved all in for 225,000 from the big blind and Mattila made the call.

The flop came down and Kravchenko stayed in front. The turn brought the and paired Mattila, but Kravchenko was still best. The river completed the board with the and gave Mattila a backdoor straight. Kravchenko was eliminated in eighth place for over $85,000.
It's also of note that with this finish, Kravchenko moved from seventh to sixth on the Europeans at the WSOP money list, passing Erik Fridberg.
