Arieh Escapes the Basement

Level 20 : 8,000/15,000, 0 ante

Mack Lee raised before the flop, and Josh Arieh defended his big blind.

The flop came {8-Spades} {J-Clubs} {9-Clubs}, and Arieh led out with a bet. Lee called, and he called a big bet after the {7-Clubs} turn as well. Arieh had just 3,000 chips left, and he splashed them in as the {9-Hearts} hit the river. Lee quickly called, and we'd never see his cards.

Arieh turned up {A-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {6-Spades} {10-Spades}, and his ace-high flush gives him the double-up to 164,000.
