The Tournament Director has introduced all of the players and the cards are now in the air!
John Gordon opened to 43,000 and picked up the 24,000 in dead money.
As he was dragging the pot, the Tournament Director started organizing a color up so that the smaller 1,000-denomination chips won't dominated the table.
Brian Rast opened to 38,000 from the cutoff only to have Dajuan Whorley move all in for 82,000. Once the blinds passed, Rast made the call.
Rast:
Whorley:
With Whorley in great shape to double, the flop saw Rast catch a flush draw, and when the came on the turn, he also picked up outs to a straight.
Fortunately for Whorley, the river landed the to see him make Broadway and secure the double to 188,000 as Rast slips to 995,000 in chips.
Ali Eslami opened to 38,000 from middle position only to have Daisuke Endo three-bet to 138,000 from the cutoff.
With the action back on Eslami, he paused momentarily before kicking his cards to the muck.
The action folded right round to see John Gordon receive a walk in the big blind.
Dajuan Whorley opened the pot with a raise to 37,000 only to have Andrew Cohen announce a raise to pot from the button.
As he was pushing chips out into the middle, the blinds and Whorley quickly folded.
Ted Lawson opened to 37,000 from middle position and picked up the blinds. The following hand saw Brian Rast open to 36,000 from under the gun to produce a round of folds before finding a walk the next hand.
Ali Eslami would then enter the pot from the cutoff with a 32,000-chip raise to collect the pot before John Gordon would close out the sixth hand in a row with a raise to 42,000.
