Familiar Foes

In a scene that we’ve seen before, Carlos Mortensen raised from the cutoff and Darren Woods three-bet from the small blind. Mortensen called and Woods led out on the {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. Mortensen raised and Woods made the call as the players saw the {5-Clubs} on the turn. Woods check-called Mortensen’s bet while both players checked the {5-Spades} on the river. Woods turned over {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} which was good to win another pot off Mortensen who mucked.
