Hopefully all of our readers are enjoying PokerNews' coverage of the 2011 World Series of Poker. We're proud to be the official live reporting team again this year and it wouldn't be without all of your support. We'd just like to remind everyone that with such massive field sizes in many of these events, we're unable to track every single player in the chips counts as often as we'd like to.

Things on the tournament floor are constantly changing from hand to hand and we know you want every single piece of information you can handle. Many pros in all of these events update their Twitter account on the regular, so you might want to check out the PokerNews Twitter page to see what the players themselves are saying about their progress in the events.

Kost Some Chips

Level 23 : 8,000/15,000, 0 ante

Kostas Kalathkis fired out 15,000 on a flop of {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs} against Ryan Lenaghan. Both players checked the the {J-Diamonds} turn before Lenaghan quickly bet 30,000 on the {Q-Clubs} river. Kalathkis called but couldn't beat his opponent's {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for the pot.

Matthew Waxman raised from under the gun and Humberto Brenes called on the button. Bradley Helm joined them from the big blind as they saw a flop of {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Helm checked, Waxman bet and Brenes raised. Helm got out of the way and Waxman just called. The {J-Clubs} turn went check check. Waxman bet the {10-Diamonds} river and Brenes just called. Waxman showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for a full house and Brenes mucked. Waxman was up to 830,000 after the hand while Brenes was down to 125,000.

Shortly after, Vladimir Shchemelev raised and Brenes made it three bets which got called. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{2-Spades} and it went check bet call. The {K-Spades} was checked around and the players saw a free {7-Clubs} river. Shchemelev bet and when he got called by Brenes, he immediately mucked. Brenes showed {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} to win the pot.

Shortly after that, the board was {4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}{A-Spades} and Francesco Barbaro checked. Shchemelev led out and was called by Brenes while Barbaro folded. Shchemelev bet when the {6-Diamonds} hit the turn and was called once more by Brenes. Shchemelev showed {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}, Brenes {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Shchemelev’s full house and low were good for three quarters of the pot.

Monroe Shortened

Level 23 : 8,000/15,000, 0 ante

Richard Monroe fired 15,000 on a flop of {2-Spades}{4-Spades}{A-Hearts} against Kostas Kalathakis and was called to see a {8-Hearts} turn. Monroe bet 30,000 and Kalathakis raised to 60,000, Monroe called and then called another bet on the {4-Hearts} river. Kalathakis turned over {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} for the flopped wheel (plus steel wheel draw). Monroe looks to only have around 100,000 remaining now.

Ryan Lenaghan Eliminated in 11th Place ($15,484)

Ryan Lenaghan
Ryan Lenaghan

Ryan Lenaghan was all in on a flop of {K-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds} against Richard Monroe in a three-way three-bet pot with the third player folding when Monroe fired out. Lenaghan moved all in and Monroe called.

Lenaghan: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Monroe: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The {Q-Spades} turn sealed Lenaghan's doom and the {8-Hearts} was meaningless. We're now down to one table and the players are moving across to the feature table on the other side of the room.

Chip counts and the seat draw to follow.
