Adam Heger opened with a raise which was called by Jacob Naquin from the big blind.

The {8-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {3-Hearts} flop saw Heger continue for 38,000 only to have Naquin check-raise to 77,000. Heger made the call before the {8-Hearts} landed on the turn and Naquin slid out a 117,000-chip bet. Heger made the call before both players checked the {Q-Spades} on the river.

Naquin tabled his {A-} {Q-} to take the pot and move to 1,970,000 as Heger drops to 400,000 in chips.

Jonathan Gagnon moved all in from the cutoff after being severely short stacked and was called by Byron Kaverman from the big blind. Gagnon held {Q-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} but was crushed by Kaverman's {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts}

Fortunately for Gagnon, the flop brought him fortune, falling {6-Hearts} {5-Spades} {6-Spades} . Gagnon retained the lead through the turn and river of {3-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} respectively. Gagnon is still severely short, but staying alive in this tournament.
