Just One Section

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

The goal for tonight is to have all the players in one section. Only 12 tables remain in the Black section and we hope to have everyone in the White section by the end of play today.

Kling Can't Find a Call

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

A player in middle position opened for 1,250 and Lauren Kling called from the cutoff. Everyone else folded.

Kling's opponent c-bet for 1,575 on the {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop and Kling called.

The {7-Hearts} landed on the turn and Kling's opponent bet again for 3,200. Kling tanked and looked like she was about to call, but then slid her cards across the felt and into the muck.

Kling is down to 14,500.

A player in the under the gun position raised to 2,500 and action folded all the way around to JJ Liu in the big blind. She made the call.

The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and the {9-Spades} hit on the river and Liu took down the pot.

Singer...Wins

David Singer raised to 1,500 in early position and got three-bet to 3,700 from a player in middle position. After some thought, Singer made the call as the players saw a {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop roll off. Singer led out for 4,200 and his opponent went into the tank before finally raising to 9,000 straight. Singer then went into the tank himself before he ultimately made the call.

On the {3-Hearts} turn, both players took a fair amount of time before they each checked. The action was the same on the {10-Diamonds} river and Singer revealed {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for two-pair, sevens up. The middle position player mucked but even when doing so, did it slowly as Singer took down the pot that took around seven minutes long.

But the Levy Was Gone

Adam Levy
Adam Levy

We saw Adam Levy leaving the Pavillion room and asked him if he busted which he did indeed. Levy gave us the lowdown though before he left. He said that he got it in preflop for around ten big blinds holding {A-}{9-} against an opponent’s {A-}{10-}. The board provided no help to him though and he was eliminated.
