Tonne Leads Deep Field on March to the Final Table
Day 2 of Event 11, $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha, at the World Series of Poker returns with all of the 117 remaining players making the money. During the closing minutes of Level 10 the field was trimmed to 118, requiring the field to stay past the scheduled end time. After five hands the bubble burst and Charles Tonne had a near 60,000 lead over the field.
A talented and accomplished field remains with Tristan Wade, Michael Binger, Noeh Boeken, AP Phahurat, Ryan D'Angelo, Isaac Baron, Sorel Mizzi, Vitaly Lunkin, Shannon Shorr, Terrence Chan and Jonathan Aguiar are all capable of climbing up the counts.
We've got ten levels scheduled for today unless the field is trimmed to a final table beforehand. Judging by the pace of yesterday's play and how big they've been playing it's not out of the question.
Cards will be in the air promptly at 1 p.m. for the restart in the Purple Section of the Amazon Room. Follow all the WSOP action live on PokerNews.com
