The Bubble Not Gentle on Chris

Omaha-8

Christopher Gentile was down to just 3,500 during the last hand of Omaha Eight-or-Better. The final hand of his tournament began when Timothy Frazin limped from under the gun. Gentile then committed his last chips, at which point Daniel Harmetz raised it up to 6,000. Frazin called and the dealer readied some cards.

Frazin and Harmetz then checked down a {3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board and Frazin would table his {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{q-Spades}, with the wheel enough to scoop the pot. Gentile's cards were tabled and quickly mucked as he didn't hold enough to survive. Unfortunately for Gentile, he is our bubble boy, while the remaining 40 players are now in the money.

Fitzpatrick Finished

Stud-8

Timothy Frazin{x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} / {x-}
William Fitzpatrick{x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} / {x-}

Frazin completed with the {8-Clubs} showing, and Fitzpatrick raised. Only Frazin called. The chips went in on fourth, and Frazin tabled {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a pair of eights. Fitzpatrick had a monster draw holding {3-Spades}{2-Spades}, but paired his deuce on fifth, and received a ten on sixth.

On seventh, Fitzpatrick made a meaningless two pair, and was eliminated.

Karnad Survives

Stud-8

Daniel Fuhs: {x-}{x-} / {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs} / {x-}
Joe Weinberger: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades} / {x-}
Daniel Fuhs: {x-}{x-} / {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} / {x-}

We arrived at the table on fifth street, with Joshua Karnad committing his last chips. Sixth street and seventh street would see a couple of bets thrown in by Joe Weinberger and Daniel Fuhs and then we would be at showdown.

Weinberger: {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} (eighty-seven low)
Daniel Fuhs: {5-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} (three queens)
Karnad: {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Spades} (full house)

Karnad took half the pot to see his stack increase, while Weinberger took the other half.

Level 17

The players are back from their final break of the night and ready to play just two more levels before wrapping up for the night.

Bari Binks a Double

Stud-8

When we arrived at Table 449, Daniel Ratigan and Allen Bari were involved in a hand and Bari was all in. It was already at showdown by the time we got there, with Bari's {k-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} (in no particular order) out on the felt. Ratigan's cards were going into the muck and Bari was raking in the double up.
