Refund Anyone?
As was made aware yesterday, there was a bit of controversy from this event. It was let known that Will "The Thrill" Failla busted from the event on Day 1b and re-entered the same day, only to bust again. This was caused by an error in World Series of Poker registration and something that was against the rules.
It's now been made aware that a total of 81 players attempted to re-enter after they busted out on Day 1b. Three of them made it back into the field, while all others were shut out. The WSOP attempted to remove the players from the field, and were able to do so with two of them, but Failla had already busted for the second time by time they got onto the situation.
It's been made known to any player that played this event that if they can prove they were busted by any of these three players using video surveillance, they will be allowed a refund by the WSOP.
