Galfond Takes Lead Over Parker

Level 2 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Phil Galfond limped in on the button, Brock Parker raised to 7,400, and after staring at Parker for 20 seconds, he called.

The flop fell {9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, Parker led out for 6,500, and Galfond tank-called.

The turn was the {7-Spades}, Parker slid out another 16,000, and again Galfond called.

Parker emptied the chamber on the river ({7-Hearts}), firing out 37,000, and Galfond moved all in for roughly 20,000 more. Parker called, then began to open his hand (we saw the {q-Hearts}), but quickly mucked when Galfond showed {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for queens and nines.

Parker cashed in one of his lammers, while Galfond has 320,000 in chips in front of him.
