Harwood Gets a Present

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

From early position Loni Harwood had opened the action with a raise to 2,500. Two seats behind her Craig Jenkins had bumped it up to, what appeared 5,800. Action folded around back to Harwood who cut out a raise. Before we could count exactly how much she had made it (which looked like 11,000 or 12,000) Jenkins had already announced all in and Harwood had already called.

Craig Jenkins showed {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} while Harwood tabled {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. The {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop had some backdoor possibilities for Jenkins but the {7-Spades} on the turn left him only a nine to hit. The {3-Diamonds} on the river was no help for Jenkins and Harwood could start stacking. It took her two hands to build her stack up; neatly stacked in 40 high towers she now has just short of 100,000 in chips.
