Shorr Runs Into Nuts

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Action folded to the player in the hijack who bumped it up to 675. Shannon Shorr three-bet to 1,325 from the next seat over and it folded back around to the original raiser who flat called.

The duo went diamond mining as the flop came down {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. The hijack checked and Shorr moved him all in for 4,000. Shorr's opponent snapped him off with {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the nuts. Shorr meekly tabled {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and was drawing very thin to take down the pot.

He didn't do it as the {9-Spades} turned and {K-Hearts} finished off the board. Shorr is now down to about 5,500.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river the {2-Clubs}, ensuring that MacKinnon would hit the rail.
