He Who 3-Bets

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Play has slowed significantly since reaching the final table. The last five hands were all won by the person who 3-bet. Of those five hands, three of them were won by our chip leader Dimitar Yosifov.

Jacks for Moore

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Dimitar Yosifov opened to 32,000 and Ben Greenberg made the call next to act before Mathew Moore three-bet to 89,000. Yosifov folded by Greenberg made the call before both players took their time on each street before checking down the {Q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board.

Greenberg tabled his {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, but it would be Moore's {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} that would see him scoop the pot to move to nearly 800,000 in chips.

Ben Greenberg Eliminated in 10th Place ($20,015)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Ben Greenberg
Ben Greenberg

Carter Myers raised to 32,000 from middle position. After some serious thought, Ben Greenberg moved all in for his final 400,000. Myers made the call and we were off the races with :

Greenberg: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Meyers: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The race was over before it began when Myers flopped a jack on the {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. The river {q-Clubs} sealed Greenberg's fate and was followed by the {a-Hearts} river.

With Greenberg's elimination, the tournament has reached the final table and will be restarting from the feature table soon. Keep here on PokerNews for real-time hand-for-hand coverage.

First Flop Goes to Moore

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Hand #6
The action folded to Christopher Bolek and he moved all in to pick up the blinds and antes.

Hand #7
Mike Pickett bumped it up to 50,000 from the cutoff and Mathew Moore made the call from the big blind to see a {2-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} flop fall.

Moore tapped the table, as did Pickett before the dealer delivered the {K-Hearts} on the turn. Both players checked as the {Q-Spades} completed the board on the river and both players checked again.

Moore tabled his {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} to prompt a muck from Pickett as Moore picked up the first hand that saw a flop.

Hand #8
From the button Dimitar Yosifov made it 40,000 and Mathew Moore made the call from the small blind to see a {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop fall.

Moore checked and Yosifov bet out 36,000 to prompt a call from Moore as the {10-Hearts} landed on the turn. Both players checked as the {4-Diamonds} landed on the river completing a full house on the board.

Taking the lead on this street, Moore pushed out a bet of 155,000 before Yosifov took his time before raising to 325,000. Moore quickly mucked and Yosifov was pushed the pot.

Hand #9
Mike Pickett opened with a raise only to have Dimitar Yosifov three-bet the cutoff to 113,000. The blinds released, as did Pickett, and Yosifov captured another pot.

Jonathan Thompson Eliminated in 9th Place ($25,448)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Jonathan Thompson - 9th place
Jonathan Thompson - 9th place

Hand #10
Mathew Moore raised to 40,000 from the cutoff only to have Jonathan Thompson raise to 84,000 from the small blind. Moore moved all in and Thompson immediately made the call.

Thompson: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Moore: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

With Thompson racing for his tournament life, the {J-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop saw Moore take a commanding lead but leave Thompson with outs to Broadway.

Unfortunately for Thompson the {J-Clubs} on the turn, and the {9-Spades} on the river would end his run in 9th place for a $25,448 payday.
