Big Stacks Clash

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We just saw a hand between two of the bigger stacks, Ryan Julius and Malek Kalayli. With the board reading {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} on the turn, Julius checked, then called Kalayli's bet of 3,400. The river was the {6-Clubs}. Julius checked again, and Kalayli pushed out a big bet of 15,000. Julius tanked for about a minute, then elected to call. Kalayli turned over {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a nine-high straight, and Julius mucked.

Even after taking a hit on that hand, Julius has a solid stack with 75,000 in front of him. Kalayli is doing even better with 118,000.
