Conyers Busts

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Stephen Conyers had been short for a while an just back from the break he made his move from late position and was all in. He didn’t seem particularly happy to get a call from Patricia Baker.

Conyers had {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} but was at least live against the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} of Baker.

The flop of {10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades} saw Conyers clap his hands but the turn {9-Hearts} gave Baker a straight. The {3-Hearts} on the river saw Conyers exit the tournament.

Solomon and Stash Out at the Same Time

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

It was somewhat bad karma that Shannon Stash was eliminated by the player that she should have knocked out before. Craig Capello raised and Stash then moved all in for only 12,000 with the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. She was called by Capello with the {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and flopped the ace on {7-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, only to see the cruel {4-Hearts} show up on the turn. The already meaningless {5-Clubs} river completed the board.

At the very same time, David Luttbeg raised to 7,000 and called the all in for 75,000 from Chris Solomon. It was a race with pocket queens against ace king, an ace showed up on the flop, but Luttbeg spiked the queen on the turn to boost his stack significantly.

Last Three Tables Down to 27

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Within a minute, we lost yet another two players. First Sandro Terone was all in with the {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Patricia Baker looked him up for 22,000 with the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. The {9-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} board gave both players the flush and Baker emerged victorious.

Shortly afterward, we also lost Ludwid Berger. He raised to 11,000 and then tank-called the all in shove from Cameron Tullis. Tullis was in the small blind with the superior stack and noticed that the opponent only had 30,000 behind. Berger eventually put his remaining chips forward to the middle of the table and we had a showdown:

Berger: {Q-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Tullis: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and just like that, there were only 27 players left. Redraw!

Dustin Iannotti Eliminated In 27th Place ($2,585)

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Dustin Ianotti - 27th
Dustin Ianotti - 27th

David Luttbeg raised to 6,000 from under-the-gun and received a call before Dustin Iannotti shoved all in for 56,000. It folded around to Aaron Henderson in the big blind who made the call. Luttbeg thought for a moment before eventually folding, leaving Iannotti heads up versus Henderson at risk.

Iannotti's {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} couldn't improve against the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of Henderson as the board ran out {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

Iannotti was eliminated and after a few hits at the end of the last level, Henderson is back over 200,000.
