Next Pay Jump

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After a three-way flop {K-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Spades}, Theresa Hatcher moved all in for 63,000 from the button and both her opponents folded. While she stacked the chips, the table got broken as we are down to 72 players. That means we have also reached the next pay jump and will give you an updated bustout list shortly.

La Vida Loco

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Richard Munro just got on the wrong end of a big hand.

He was involved in a preflop raise with David Vida.

The two player saw a flop of {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Vida in the big blind moved all in for 90,000.

Munro took his time to make his decision but he did make the call. Vida turned over {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and it was a great call by Munro who showed {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Munro was out of his seat, looking to bust another player and stay at the top of the chip counts.
The dealer burned and turned the {7-Hearts}.

Vida clapped his hands together, “Yes, Seven.” The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Vida survived to win a big pot from Munro.

Munro took it reasonably well, “Nice hit. You really thought that king was good?”

“I did actually.” Vida honestly replied.

Wrong Button For Wilson

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

James Mallen got his 150,000 stack in pre-flop from the small blind and initial raiser Michael Wilson made a rather quick call, turning over {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}. Mallen showed {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Wilson was calling for a ladybug after the {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Spades} flop. Neither the {5-Clubs} turn nor the {2-Clubs} river completed the gutshot and Marcia Topp added in "I had a queen.".

A Shoutout from Kurt Chenchick

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

While we just wrote down a hand from table 441, Kurt Chenchick approached us and asked if he can do a shoutout. Of course we are very happy to oblige and he wants to greet everyone from the Eureka Casino in Mesquite / Nevada. "Wish me luck," he said. Chenchick has approximately 170,000 in chips with 68 out of 4,425 players remaining, which is just under average,

Phillips Looking for Miracles

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Dennis Phillips is getting short on chips and in folded to him in the small blind. He looked like he was going for a raise but sighed, “All right I call.” The big bind had a stack of chips and wasn’t having any of that, putting out a big raise, but before they could settle on the felt Phillips threw his cards away.

“I had suited connectors. I was looking for a miracle flop.”

Runner Runner Split Pot

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Timothy Roberts opened the action with a raise to 27,000 from under the gun and Carl Torelli in middle position as well as the big blind called. On the {A-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop, the big blind checked and then folded after the action behind him. Roberts made it 45,000 to go and Torelli moved all in for another 128,500 on top.

Roberts tank called and tabled {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}, Torelli only had {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}. However, he split the pot after the {8-Hearts} turn and the {A-Clubs} river gave both players a full house.

Byrne River Bet

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Sean Byrne is a relatively new arrival at Michael Wilson’s table and they recently tangled in a pot.

Having got to the river of a board reading {4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades} Byrne bet into Wilson for 30,000.

Wilson sat there contemplating for a minute as Byrne started him down through his dark sunglasses giving nothing away. Wilson paid the price to see the cards and Byrne turned over {a-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Wilson’s curiosity was satisfied but his stack of chips was a little lighter.
