Seed Busts Cousineau

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Huck Seed opened for a raise on the button to 3,500 and got shoved on for barely more than the raise by Tony Cousineau in the big blind.

"Well, aces can't win every time at this table," Seed said as he put in calling chips.

Seed: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Cousineau: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

He was right about his opponent's hand - and he was also right about the result - as the board ran out {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Spades}, giving Seed a set.

Green Grass

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

After a player in middle position opened for the pot to 3,500, Perry Green reraised the pot from the hijack seat. Action folded back to the original raiser and he called all in for around 10,000. Green had the {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and was up against the all-in player's {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

The board ran out {K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and Green made quads to bust his opponent and move to 32,000 in chips.

In the Money

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

After a couple of quick eliminations around the bubble, Event #3: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha has made the money. The tournament staff paused play for a few brief moments to verify the field count and it was then announced that everyone left has earned a cash.

Griffin Takes a Hit

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

We found Ashton Griffin with a three-bet in front of him on the button, only to see his opponent who had opened shove for just over 17,000. Griffin made the call.

Griffin: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The {2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop gave Griffin a flush draw and a pair, increasing his equity, but the {8-Clubs} and {9-Diamonds} were blanks.

The former online grinder known as "theASHMAN103" lost a chunk, but he still has a well above-average stack.
