"You're an Animal"

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Steve Billirakis has his opponents on the defensive.
Steve Billirakis has his opponents on the defensive.

Loren Klein check-called a bet of 35,000 in a blind battle with Steve Billirakis on a {2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop. He then bet out 65,000 on the {q-Spades} turn, and Billirakis softly announced a raise to pot. It was 260,000 more, and Klein went into the tank. Billirakis had 16,000 behind.

"Sorry guys, I swear I'm not Hollywooding," Klein said after a couple of minutes.

"Alright," he said, sliding his cards to the dealer. "You're an animal."

John O'Shea Eliminated in 12th Place ($11,593)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
John O'Shea - 12th Place
John O'Shea - 12th Place

Action folded to a short-stacked John O'Shea on the button and he raised the pot. The small blind folded, and then Brandon Shack-Harris three-bet from the big. O'Shea called off for around 65,000 total and the cards were turned up.

Shack-Harris: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
O'Shea: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The {10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop gave Shack-Harris a pair of kings, but O'Shea picked up a straight draw. The {2-Clubs} turn was no help to the Irishman, and neither was the {8-Hearts} river. O'Shea missed and had to settle for 12th place and $11,592.

O'Shea did mention that he would likely be back in action on Friday for the $1,500 Razz at 4 p.m. If so, we will see him then.

"Guess We Are In For the Big Pot"

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Loren Klein was the pre flop aggressor and Robert Paddock defended his big blind to see the {2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. Paddock check-called 25.000 and the two of them saw the {6-Clubs} turn. Paddock check-raised pot size after Klein had bet 58,000 into 99,000 and Klein moved all in after some consideration. "You got the straight?" he asked and Paddock nodded.

Klein turned over {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and got there with the {3-Hearts} river. The dealer had already rushed away the cards from Paddock but I could see the {10-}{7-} among them.

O'Shea in Danger

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

John O'Shea and Morgan Popham both checked a {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} in what appeared to be a min-raised pot. O'Shea bet 30,000 on the {7-Spades} turn, and Popham made the call. The {6-Clubs} put a four-straight on board, and both players checked.

Popham dragged the pot with {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for aces up.

Guagenti Gets Very Short

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Nick Guagenti raised to 25,000 from the cutoff and Iori Yogo called in the big blind. On the {7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{J-Spades} flop, both players checked. The {A-Clubs} turn saw Yogo check-raise all in for the remainder of Guagenti's stack. His opponent had bet 55,000 with almost as much behind and folded rather quickly.

Curtis Krushelniski Eliminated in 13th Place ($9,299)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Curtis Krushelniski
Curtis Krushelniski

In the very first hand back from the break, Robert Paddock raised to 25,000. On the button, Curtis Krushelniski moved all in for less than six big blinds and the blinds threw their cards into the muck. Paddock quickly called and both players turned over their cards:

Krushelniski: {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Paddock: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}

After the {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} turn, the short stack could only chop the pot anymore with a queen, but the blank {5-Diamonds} river completed the board.
