Hands #21-25: Hale Getting Short

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Hand #21: Millard Hale opened for 50,000 from early position and Brandon Paster called from the big blind. Both players would check the {J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and Paster would lead out for 75,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn. Hale would fold and Paster showed the nut flush draw and a jack.

Hand #22: Kevin Saul opened for 40,000 and Hale called from the big blind. The flop came {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} and both players checked. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Hale led out for 80,000 and Saul made the call. The river was the {K-Diamonds} and both players checked. Hale turned over {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a pair of tens. Saul had {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{9-Spades} and his pair of queens would take it down.

Hand #23: Paster opened for 45,000 from the button and Gabriel Nassif re-raised to 145,000. Paster folded and Nassif showed {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Hand #24: Nassif opened to 60,000 and Matthew Humphrey called from the big blind. Humphrey would fold to Nasser's 30,000 bet on the {J-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} flop.

Hand #25: Dmitrii Valouev opened to 50,000 and picked up the blinds when everyone folded.

Hands #26-30: Hale Doubles Through Vonk

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Hand #26: Gabriel Nassif limped and the action folded to Kevin Saul in the big blind, who checked his option. On the {J-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, Saul bet 28,000 and that took down the pot.

Hand #27: Matthew Dames limped from the button, Saul called in the small blind and Marcel Vonk checked in the big blind. The Dutchman then bet 55,000 on the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and scooped the pot.

Hand #28: Millard Hale raised the pot to 70,000 with 43,000 behind and the action folded to Vonk in the small blind. He raised enough to isolate successfully and Hale called all in.

Hale: {10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Vonk: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

On the {3-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board, Hale doubled up for 113,000 chips in total.

Hand #29: Vonk raised to 45,000 from the button and won the blinds.

Hand #30: Dealer Matthew delivered the cards and Matthew Humphrey raised to 45,000 in order to claim the blinds.

Hands #31-35: A Raise Will Do It

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Hand #31: Galen Hall opened to 45,000 from the button and won the blinds.

Hand #32: Hall limped in from the cutoff and Gabriel Nassif checked his option in the big blind. Both players checked the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop and Nassif check-called Hall's "1 Bee Bee" (as Hall put it) bet of 20,000 on the {4-Spades} turn. The river was the {3-Clubs} and both players checked. Nassif would take the pot with {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Hall would muck.

Hand #33: Matthew Dames raised to 70,000 from early position and would win the blinds when everyone folded.

Hand #34: Kevin Saul raised to 45,000 from early position and would win the blinds when everyone folded.

Hand #35: Brandon Paster opened for 50,000 and Kevin Saul called from the big blind. The flop came {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Saul would check-fold to Paster's bet of 80,000.

Galen Hall

Hand #38: Brandon Paster raised to 45,000 as first to act and got two callers in Dmitrii Valouev and Galen Hall in the blinds. On the {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{K-Clubs} flop, both players in the blinds checked and Paster made the continuation bet for 95,000. Valouev folded but Hall moved all in and was quickly called.

Paster: {J-Spades}{A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Hall: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}

The {10-Hearts} turn was a blank for Hall and the {4-Clubs} river even completed the flush for Paster. Hall was eliminated in 9th place and headed to the payout desk.
