Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Hand #80: Brandon Paster opened to 75,000 from the small blind and Millard Hale folded his big blind.

Hand #81: Paster opened to 75,000 from the button and Gabriel Nassif re-raised to 240,000 from the big blind. Paster made the call and we were seeing a flop with 495,000 already in the pot. Nassif would check the {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} flop and then fold when Paster put out a 125,000 chip bet.

Hand #82: We missed this hand inadvertently while counting down Paster's stack.

Hand #83: Kevin Saul opened to 65,000 from early position and would pick up the blinds when everyone folded.

Hand #84: Matt Dames opened to 90,000 from the small blind and Saul made the call from the big blind. Saul would snap-fold with vigor when Dames led out for a pot-sized bet on the {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop.

Hand #85: Brandon Paster raised to 70,000 and got the blinds.

Hand #86: Paster raised again to 70,000. Dmitrii Valouev called in the big blind and then folded on the {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop when Paster bet 60,000, flashing {A-}{A-}{Q-}{J-}.

Hand #87: Marcel Vonk raised to 70,000 on the button and Paster three-bet to 225,000 in the big blind. Vonk called and then folded on the {7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{A-Spades} flop after Paster made it 325,000 to go.

Hands #90-91: Nassif Doubles Up

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Hand #90: Brandon Paster opened to 70,000 and Gabriel Nassif re-raised to 240,000 from the small blind. Paster made the call and the flop came {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Nassif bet all in for a total of 290,000. Paster made the call and the hands were turned over:

Paster: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Nassif: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Nassif was ahead with his aces but Paster had plenty of ways to improve his hand. The turn was the {A-Hearts} giving Nassif a set of aces and Paster would need to hit a four or an eight to knock Nassif out. The river was the {J-Clubs} and Nassif scored a huge double up and inched closer to the chip lead that Paster held.

Hand #91: Paster opened to 65,000 and Matt Humphrey re-raised to 225,000 from the small blind leaving himself 75,000 behind. Paster folded.

Kevin Saul Eliminated in 8th Place ($24,111)

Kevin Saul
Kevin Saul

Hand #92: Millard Hale opened for a pot sized raise of 105,000 and Kevin Saul made the call from the big blind. The flop came {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Saul moved the rest of his chips into the middle. Hale made the call and he had Saul slightly covered so it was Saul who was at risk.

Hale: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Saul: {Q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

"Ouch," said Saul when he saw Hale's hand, knowing he was in bad shape. The turn was the {4-Hearts} giving Hale a flush and Saul was drawing dead. The river was the {3-Hearts} and Kevin Saul was eliminated in 8th place and Millard Hale survived a key hand to move his stack up to 450,000 in chips.
