Lapossie Over a Million

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Matthew Lapossie
Matthew Lapossie

The action started with Hungarian national Arpad Balazs opening to 15,000 and Xiao Peng made it 50,000 to go. It was folded over to Matthew Lapossie who made it 115,000. Balazs moved all in, having both players covered with over 700,000 in chips. Peng quickly folded and Lapossie couldn't get his chips into the middle fast enough as he proudly turned over the pre-flop nuts with {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. It was a cooler for Balazs as he had {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}.

The board would run out {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and the ace high flush for Lapossie was enough to give him the massive pot which moved him over the million chip mark. Balazs will have work to do but still has chips with 240,000 left after that blow.

Jose Carlos Garcia
Jose Carlos Garcia

It was a three-way all in between Brian Pinkus, Julius Coleman and Jose Carlos Garcia and the Sunday Million winner from Poland not only had the most chips but also the best hand out of the three players.

Pinkus: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Coleman: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Garcia: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

Once the {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{J-Spades} board was completed, a new chip leader was born with 1.2 million in chips.

Bonavena With Kicker Problem

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Salvatore Bonavena
Salvatore Bonavena

Mykhailo Krasnytskyi opened to 21,000 from middle position and Salvatore Bonavena moved all in for 170,000 out of the small blind. The player in the big blind folded and Krasnytskyi called with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}.

Bonavena was at risk with {A-Spades}{6-Spades} and picked up a gutshot on the {4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop. Neither the {3-Spades} turn nor the {10-Diamonds} river helped the Italian and he exited the tournament area.

Sergio Castelluccio
Sergio Castelluccio

Sergio Castelluccio moved all in for 12 big blinds with {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} and one seat over, Brandon Eisen reshoved all in himself to isolate successfully. It was an incredible bad timing for the Italian as Eisen held {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and knocked him out.

Eric Baldwin

We weren't able to see how he did it but Eric "Basebaldy" Baldwin has eclipsed the million chip mark. Impressive considering he was under 200,000 less than two hours ago.
