Evangelista's Jacks No Good Against Waxman's Queens

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Matt Waxman
Matt Waxman

The action folded to Matthew Waxman in the cutoff and he raised to 20,000. The button folded and Mark Evangelista in the small blind three-bet to 57,000. Waxman took his measured time before calling as the dealer spread a {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop.

Evangelista open-jammed 257,000, and after rechecking his hole cards, Waxman announced a call.

Evangelista: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Waxman: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

With Evangelista dominated, the {3-Hearts} and {8-Spades} on the turn and river would see him sent to the rail as Waxman climbed to 1,030,000 in chips.

Nardello Over Siffledeen

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We arrived to find about 160,000 already in the middle on a board of {3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Quentin Siffledeen was heads up with Nicholas Nardello in the hand. The former came out with a bet of 100,000 straight and Nardello pushed forward calling chips.

The board completed with the {4-Diamonds} and Siffledeen went into the tank. About 90 seconds passed before he tapped the table. Nardello quickly checked it back and the hands were exposed. Siffledeen shrugged and rolled over {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}, prompting Nardello to show {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for the win. Nardello raked in the chips and now has about 910,000 in chips.

Winzeler Doesn't Fire

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Palo raised to 20,000 in middle position, Hans Winzeler three-bet to 45,000 in the cutoff, and Jason Johnson cold four-bet to 95,000 on the button. Palo folded, Winzeler made a quick call, and the two checked on a flop of {3-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds}, both players checked again, and the river was the suicide king ({k-Hearts}). Check-check.

Palo showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens and was awarded the pot.

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Florian Sighe and Emil Olsson were in action on the {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, and both checked to see the {2-Clubs} pair the board on the turn. After Sighe checked, Olsson bet 27,000. Sighe called.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} to complete the board, and Sighe led for 42,000. Olsson called, but couldn't beat Sighe's {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for aces and nines.
