Craig Varnell opened from under the gun to 1,500 with Sasha Barrese defending the big blind.
The flop came {A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, Barrese check-called a bet of 2,400 from Varnell. The turn brought a {K-Diamonds}, Barrese checked again and faced a hefty bet of 7,700 from Varnell, which was for around half her stack. After taking a minute Barrese released her hand into the muck as Varnell added to his chip stack.

Adam Lippert has grabbed a sizeable chip lead sitting with around 100,000 in chips and is the first player to reach the six-digit mark. Lippert does have a WSOP ring to his name and perhaps the elusive bracelet is in the near future as well.
