Moshe Tank-Folds against Peters

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

What started as an innocent pot turned into about a 10-minute hand. David Peters completed from the small blind and Asi Moshe checked his options.

Moshe then bet on every street and Peters check-called 30,000 on the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop and another bet of about 60,000 on the {A-Hearts} turn.

The {8-Diamonds} completed the board and Peters let Moshe fire one more time. Moshe made it 200,000 and Peters spent between two and three minutes before acting.

He counted his stack and eventually announced a raise to 499,000, leaving himself just 1,000 behind.

Then it was Moshe who switched to the tank-mode, thinking about the hand for over three minutes.

"Sorry guys. You can call time if you need to," Moshe apologized.

Then he took another 30 seconds or so and finally released his hand. "My friends are going to be pissed at me for folding this against you," Moshe said.

Peters, as always, remained stoic and sent his cards face down to the dealer. Then he quietly stacked his newly earned chips.

Blair and Laka Double Up

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Eric Blair raised it up to 45,000 from under the gun and Peter Neff three-bet to 125,000 directly to his left. The action folded back to Blair who jammed all in for 568,000 and Neff quickly called. Blair tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} against Neff's {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Blair had a lock on the hand. The {10-Spades} on the turn meant Neff was drawing dead to the {3-Hearts} on the river.

In the next hand, David Laka opened to 40,000 from the cutoff and Shawn Buchanan reraised to 150,000 on the button. Laka didn't take long before moving all in for 414,000 and Buchanan called.

It was a flip with Laka holding {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} against Buchanan's {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Laka took the lead with a pair of jacks. The {5-Spades} on the turn and the {j-Diamonds} on the river only improved Laka's hand as he earned himself a double-up.

Hijack Peter Neff open-jammed for 223,000 and the action stopped at David Laka who called out of the big blind.

Peter Neff: {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
David Laka: {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The dealer quickly dealt the {Q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts} board, giving Laka a pair of jacks to eliminate his opponent in 13th place.

Moshe Bombs the River

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jeremy Wien
Jeremy Wien

Asi Moshe raised to 45,000 from the hijack and was called by Jeremy Wien in the small blind and John Amato in the big blind. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} and the action checked around to the {2-Clubs} on the turn.

Wien led out for 160,000 and Amato quickly mucked his hand. Moshe stuck around to see the {10-Spades} on the river and Wien checked this time. Moshe pushed forward a bet of 975,000, over two times the pot. Wien stood up and walked around his seat, taking deep breaths for over three minutes. He was thinking to himself out loud and eventually tossed in a chip to call. Moshe flipped over {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Wien tabled {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for two pair.

Jason Remshardt Eliminated in 12th Place ($27,208)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Jason Remschardt
Jason Remschardt

Down to his last 142,000, Jason Remshardt moved all in from the button and John Amato in the big blind asked for a count. Amato eventually called and the cards were turned over.

Jason Remshardt: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
John Amato: {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Amato took the lead on the {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, while Remshardt spiked the {A-Hearts} on the turn to let out a shy "yes, yes." Amato needed a ten, four, or trey to deal the final blow, and indeed the {4-Spades} appeared on the river to eliminate Remshardt in 12th place for a payday of $27,208.

Moshe Gets Value from Peters

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

David Peters defended his big blind against Asi Moshe's raise from the first position.

Mose blasted three barrels on the way to the showdown, earning three more calls from Peters.

The board was {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Moshe fired 50,000 on the flop, followed by 140,000 and 245,000 on the turn and river, respectively. Peters took three minutes or more before making the river call. Moshe turned up {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Peters mucked his hand.

Peters Gets Some Back

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Richard Tuhrim raised to 55,000 on the button and folded to a jam of Michael Gagliano in the big blind. Tuhrim's open-shove soon after went through uncalled, but he remains the shortest stack among the last 11 hopefuls.

Over on the other table, a limped pot in a battle of the blinds emerged and the flop showed {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. David Peters bet 30,000 and Asi Moshe raised to 90,000, which Peters called. Both checked the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and Peters' bet of 170,000 on the river was called by Moshe. Peters showed {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a flush and that won the pot.
