Bubble Is Burst!

Level 15 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

During the last hand before the break, there were two players eliminated which resulted in only 116 players returning from the break. That means everyone in the tournament is in the money and guaranteed at least $2,258.

Turner Versus Visser

Level 15 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

PLO-8

Jon Turner and Frank Visser are seated right next to each other and seem to play quite a few pots together. The latest one went to Visser without showdown.

It folded to Frank Visser and he raised to 2,600. Turner called from the big blind and the two saw the {K-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} appear. Visser continued with a bet of 3,000 and again Turner called.

The turn was the {K-Clubs} and this time both players checked to see the {9-Hearts} river. Visser peeked at his cards again and counted out a bet worth 7,000. Turner opted to fold and the pot went to Visser.

Visser is already the owner of a WSOPC ring he won in Brussel by winning the €365 Dealer's Choice tournament and is now looking to win another piece of WSOP gold.

Mitchell Spikes the River to Win a Huge Pot

Level 15 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

PLO-8

The action folded to Tobias Hausen who made it 3,000 on the button. Cameron Mitchell defended from the big blind and the flop came {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Mitchell check-called a bet of 5,000 from Hausen and the {9-Hearts} rolled off on the turn.

Mitchell checked again and Hausen pushed in a bet of 15,000. Mitchell thought for a moment and then announced a check-raise for the whole pot. Hausen moved his last 53,500 into the middle and the cards were tabled.

Cameron Mitchell: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Tobias Hausen: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Hausen was in the lead with two pair and the nut flush draw while Mitchell held the best low draw. Mitchell was desperately looking for a five or ten to scoop the pot, and indeed the {10-Spades} hit the river. Mitchell made a straight for the high hand and there was no low hand available. Hausen disappointedly walked away with a min-cash while Mitchell appears to have taken over the chip lead.

Beylin Fires All Three Streets

Level 15 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Omaha-8

The action folded to Konstantin Beylin who raised it up from the cutoff. Phil Hellmuth called from the big blind and the flop fell {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}. Hellmuth check-called a bet from Beylin and the {4-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Hellmuth check-called another bet from Beylin on the turn and the {a-Clubs} paired the board on the river. Hellmuth checked for the third time and Beylin quickly placed another bet. Hellmuth threw his hands up in the air in frustration, "How did I miss that?"

Hellmuth flung his cards to the muck and Beylin raked in the pot as the two players exchanged some more friendly words.

Chung Wins Three Quarters Against Seidel

Level 15 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

PLO-8

Stephanie Chung got all of her chips in the middle against Erik Seidel and she was the one that was at risk of busting out.

Stephanie Chung: {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Erik Seidel: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

The runout was rather unfortunate for Seidel as the dealer spread out the {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop and completed the board with the {6-Spades} turn and the {9-Diamonds} river.

Chung won the low part with her seventy-six and she chopped the high part with Seidel as they both held the same two pair.

Cohen Pushes Zhigalov Off

Level 15 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

PLO-8

On a flop of {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}, Andrey Zhigalov tossed in a bet of 5,000 from middle position. Joshua Cohen was his opponent and raised it up to 19,000 from the cutoff.

The {5-Clubs} fell on the turn and Zhigalov checked to Cohen who pushed in a bet of 39,000, leaving himself with only 100 behind. Zhigalov went into the tank for a couple of minutes before eventually laying his hand down.

Hemingway Sends Spurlin to the Rail

Level 16 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Big-O

The board read {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and the action was on Jared Hemingway who announced a pot-sized bet. Jordan Spurlin was his opponent and he moved all in for a little over 30,000. Hemingway instantly called and the hands were tabled.

Jared Hemingway: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Jordan Spurlin: {a-Spades}{k-}{q-}{10-}{2-Spades}

Hemingway had the best high hand with a straight while both players held the same low draw with ace-deuce. However, the river brought the {2-Clubs} and Hemingway was able to scoop the pot, sending Spurling to the payout desk.

Eichhorn Doubles Up, Dube Eliminated

Level 16 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

PLO-8

The table with Jared Hemingway is very active and looks like to be having a good time, but there's also a lot of action to be found. Hemingway just lost some chips to Dennis Eichhorn, doubling him up and the short-stacked Mard Dube got eliminated in the meantime. All the chips went in preflop between the three players.

Mark Dube: {A-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Jared Hemingway: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Dennis Eichhorn, {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Eichhorn scooped the pot with his full house since there was no low hand possible. Dube was sent to the rail.
