Welcome Back for Day 3 of Event #43: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em
Event #43: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em will start soon and 34 hopefuls will come back and try their best to build a stack throughout the course of the day.
Seth Davies finished as chip leader yesterday (1,305,000). Hot on his heels are Jeff Hakim (1,164,000) and Javier Fernandez (1,093,000), who were the only other two players to finish with over 1 million chips in play. Some other formidable stacks include Andrew Brokos (625,000), Daniel Buzgon (570,000) and Ismael Bojang (497,000).
David Peters (480,000), Chris Ferguson (402,000), Ryan Laplante (292,000), Andreas Klatt (230,000) are some of the other big names still in contention. They, and all the players, will be vying for the title, the first place prize of $507,274 and a coveted WSOP bracelet.
Originally there were three days scheduled for the tournament but a fourth was added as it became clear that a conclusion will not be reached by the end of today. Day 3 begins at Level 21: small blind 6,000, big blind 12,000 and an ante of 2,000. Ten 60-minute levels will be played with 15-minute breaks coming after every two levels, and a 60-minute dinner break at the end of the day's sixth level.
