Welcome to Event #53: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better at the 2018 World Series of Poker. Day 1 action is set to begin at 11 a.m. local time and is scheduled to play out over 10 one-hour levels with late registration open until the beginning of Level 7 (at approximately 6:55 p.m.).

Last year, Nathan Gamble emerged victorious from a field of 830 to claim the $223,339 top prize and his first gold bracelet. Gamble went on an exceptional heater at the final table; he had a third of the chips in play with seven players remaining and never relinquished the lead.

Each player will begin with 7,500 starting chips and blinds will kick off at 25/50. There will be a 20-minute break every two levels and a dinner break after six levels. Day 2 action is similarly scheduled and will begin at 12 noon on Wednesday, with a plan to play down to a winner on Thursday.
