We Have a Showdown

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Players are still 10-handed and it may have something to do with the tentative style of play that has been seen so far. After a few hands that barely made it to the flop, we just witnessed a showdown hand.

Longsheng Tan opened the hijack and only John Pannucci fancied a look, peeling from the big blind.

It fell {9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Pannucci checked to Tan, who continued for 75,000. That was the end of the betting, with neither player opting to commit chips on the {10-Clubs} turn or {5-Clubs} river. Pannucci opened up {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and his top pair was good for the pot.
