Brunca Bullies Ireland

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Anderson Ireland opened to 8,000 from under the gun and it folded to Fernando Brunca on the button who three-bet pot to 28,500. Ireland mulled it over for minute before making the call and the two went heads-up to a flop.

The flop fell {6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, and Ireland checked it over to Brunca who bet 55,000, which equaled the remainder of Ireland's stack. Ireland took a few moments but elected to fold and Brunca scooped the pot.

Aces Full in the Wild Wild West

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Igor Yaroshevskyy bet 9,000 out of the big blind on the turn of a {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts} board and Tom West called out of middle position.

The {3-Hearts} hit the turn and Yaroshevskyy checked. West bet 22,000, sending Yaroshevskyy into the tank. The clock was eventually called and Yaroshevskyy would end up making the call only to see West table the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for aces full and his cards went into the muck.

McAlpin Pots the Flop

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Bradley Coultas opened to 10,000 from early position and Christina McAlpin flatted from the cutoff. Fernando Brunca defended his big blind and the three saw a {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop.

Brunca and Coultas both checked to McAlpin who bet pot for 32,000. Brunca folded immediately but it took Coultas a little while longer before his cards made their way into the muck.

McAlpin With a Double Knockout

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Maria Mcalpin
Maria Mcalpin

Christina McAlpin had both Christopher Doan and Bradley Coultas all in and at risk on a flop of {j-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} with around 200,000 in the middle.

Christina McAlpin: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Christopher Doan: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Bradley Coultas: {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Coultas and McAlpin had flopped second-nut and nut flush, respectively, and Doan with middle set needed the board to pair for him to stay alive.

The runout of {5-Spades}{8-Diamonds} proved no help and McAlpin scooped the pot with the two bounties.

Immediately following that hand, McAlpin's kings would be cracked by Anderson Ireland's {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, earning him a needed double.

Painter Doubles Through Williams

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Jameson Painter
Jameson Painter

On the flop of a {10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board, Kristopher Bradshaw bet 11,000 and Jameson Painter flatted. David Williams raised to 60,000 and called the rest of Painter's three-bet shove worth 108,500 after Bradshaw folded.

Jameson Painter: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
David Williams: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}

Painter's two pair was best and immediately improved when the {10-Hearts} hit the turn. Williams was drawing dead and paid the double when the {4-Hearts} completed the board.

On the flop of a {9-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} board, Romain Lewis bet 14,000 and Christopher Schneider moved all in for 54,000. Lewis called.

Christopher Schneider: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Romain Lewis: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

Schneider had flopped a straight and just needed to avoid any spade but the nine. The board ran out {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Schneider raked in the double.
