Welcome to Day 1 of Event #70: $3,000 Limit Hold'em 6-Handed. This is a three-day event. The defending champion in this event is Max Silver who pocketed $172,645 and a gold bracelet for his win last year. Silver has $1,524,097 in live cashes at the WSOP, including one cash this summer.

Players begin with 15,000 chips and will battle it out for 10 60-minute levels. There will be a 15-minute break every two levels. Late registration will close before the start of Level 9 at approximately 12:00 a.m.
