Andreas Torbergsen Eliminated in 2nd Place ($164,553)
Level 32 : 120,000-240,000, 0 ante
Andreas Torbergsen raised the pot on the button and Simon Lofberg three-bet the pot, which Torbergsen called with fewer than one million behind. On the flop, Lofberg moved all-in and Torbergsen called it off.
Torbergsen had an open-ender, gutshot and flushdraw while Lofberg had a gutshot to the higher straight and backdoor clubs. The turn paired the board and the river kept king-jack high in the lead. Torbergsen had to settle for second place which comes with a sweet payday of $164,552.93.
However, it is Lofberg that has earned his maiden WSOP bracelet and the top prize of $224,493.45.
A recap of today's action is to follow.
