Joe McKeehan

Kevin Erickson raised under the gun and Joe McKeehen three-bet from the cutoff which folded the action back to Erickson who called.

The flop came down {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and McKeehen called Erickson's 5,000 bet on the flop.

The turn of the {8-Diamonds} brought another bet out of Erickson and McKeehen called once more.

The {7-Spades} river was checked through. Erickson showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for jacks and eights with an ace kicker and McKeehen shook his head and mucked.

Lennon Practically Doubles with Nines

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On a {4-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board and a 60,000 pot, Jeff Lennon bet from early position and the cutoff player called.

The {k-Hearts} completed the board and Lennon put in the rest of his chips, which wasn't much more, and showed {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} before his opponent actually made a decision. It didn't matter though as his opponent showed {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} for ace-high as he folded and Lennon took the pot to just about double his stack.

Table 459 Out Of Play Due To Coffee

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

The floor had tried to break tables in a fashion that would move tables closer to the front of the room. However a slight hurdle occurred when John Esposito spilled steaming hot coffee over at least half of the table, rendering half of the table unusable in a poker tournament. The floor made the decision to move the table formerly known as 459 to 460, and that table will be out of play for the remainder of the day.

Lancaster Rivers Set Over Flopped Set in Big Pot

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

After multiple raises preflop, a player in early position, a player in middle position, and Mike Lancaster in the small blind saw a flop.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and the early position player check-raised following a bet and a raise, which both other players called.

The {q-Hearts} appeared on the turn and the early position player fired out a bet which got two calls.

The {j-Clubs} completed the board. Lancaster check-raised and both other players called.

Lancaster showed he made a river set with {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} which was good against the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flopped set of the early position player, while the middle position player appeared to show aces before mucking.
