Marco Johnson: {2-}{7-} / {5-}{9-}{3-}{q-} / {10-}
Chris Wallace: {a-}{4-} / {5-}{10-}{4-}{j-} / {8-}
Ben Yu: {5-}{4-} / {2-}{j-}{j-}{7-} / {q-}

Capped on third street, they also capped it on fourth when Chris Wallace raised and then four-bet. He was called by three-bettor Marco Johnson and Ben Yu stuck around with a jack showing. On fifth street, Johnson bet and Wallace called all-in for the last 2,000, Yu called. Johnson then bet sixth and called all-in when Yu raised.

Yu had a seven-five draw but missed while Wallace was drawing dead already. Johnson won with a nine-seven and essentially tripled up while Yu was left very short.

Chidwick Eliminated by Baker

Level 14
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Stud Hi-Lo

Stephen Chidwick: {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} / {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} / {q-Diamonds}
David "ODB" Baker: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} / {5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} / {6-Spades}

A raising war on fourth street got the short stack of Stephen Chidwick in the middle. At that point he had a pair of sevens and was dominated by the pair of nines of David "ODB" Baker. Neither player improved on any of the remaining streets and Chidwick was sent to the rail in 41st place.

Gaspard Crushes Rotholz

Level 12
Jean Gaspard
Jean Gaspard

Limit Hold'em

In a battle big blind versus button, Jean Gaspard bet the {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, the {k-Hearts} turn and the {q-Diamonds} river. Hal Rotholz called it down and mucked when Gaspard tabled the {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for kings and queens.

"You are crushing me," Rotholz admitted and Gaspard replied "you are putting the chips in, you are crushing you."

After some more chatter, Gaspard admitted "I don't know how good I am but I am very lucky." The early stages of Day 2 have certainly propelled Gaspard to a bigger stack while Rotholz has been all but sent to the ropes.

The second day of the 2021 World Series of Poker will see one of the first highlights of the series one step closer to the conclusion. Out of a field of 73 entries, only 47 players bagged up chips in Event #2: $25,000 H.O.R.S.E. and among them were some of the biggest names of the international poker scene.

Mixed game specialists showcased their talents throughout ten levels of 60 minutes already. Chad Eveslage leads the Day 1 survivors with a stack of 860,000, which is well ahead of John Monnette (589,500) and Jean Gaspard (569,000). Other big names in the top 10 include Mike Matusow, Shaun Deeb and Randy Ohel.

A plethora of WSOP bracelet winners are in the mix to increase their tally including Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Brian Rast, and Benny Glaser to name all but a few faces and a star-studded field.
