Welcome to Day 1 of Event #26: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout

Today is a brand new tournament for the World Series of Poker which also presents a new opportunity for someone to win a coveted gold bracelet.

Event #26: $1,000 Freezeout No Limit Hold’em is one of the many new tournaments taking place at the 2021 WSOP and don't forget you can check out all the information on this year's freezeout series in our hub . As per freezeout rules, once a player is eliminated, they will not be able to re-enter the event.

Players start with 20,000 in chips and blinds begin at 100-100 with a 100 big blind ante. Levels are 30 minutes long with a 20-minute break after every four levels and there will be a 75-minute dinner break after level 12. Play on Day 1 starts at 11 a.m. PT and is scheduled for 22 levels and after which the players will return for Day 2 on October 14.

This event is scheduled for two days, with late registration ending after level 8, around 3:40 p.m. Stay tuned to PokerNews for all your WSOP updates.
