Elezra Surpasses a Million in Chips

Level 18

Stud Hi-Lo

Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} / {x-}
Tom Koral: {x-}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades} / {x-}

Eli Elezra bet fifth to seventh and the final bet sent Tom Koral into the tank.

"It is good when you bet and your opponent is sweating," Elezra said as Koral nodded with a smile on the face. Koral eventually called and Elezra tabled the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} for nines and sevens, which ended up as the winning hand.

By earning the pot, Elezra surpassed one million in chips and the only other player remotely close to that is Qinghai Pan.

Joe Eliminated on Seventh Street

Level 18

Stud Hi-Lo

One of the biggest pots of the day sent Dean Joe packing and Paramjit Gill raking in plenty of chips.

Dean Joe: {x-}{x-} / {q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Paramjit Gill: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Daryl Aguirre: {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Allen Kessler: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs} - fold on sixth street

All of Joe's chips were in the middle on fourth street, while Gill was taking the betting lead against Daryl Aguirre and Allen Kessler. Joe, Gill and Aguirre continued to seventh street after Kesler folded, with Joe showing {q-}{10-}{6-} for two pair. Gill revealed {a-}{7-}{3-} while saying he caught the ace on seventh to make a better two pair, sending Joe to the rail.

Moments later, George Alexander also busted on a nearby table.

Kessler Misses a Ton Of Outs to Bust

Level 19
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

Stud Hi-Lo

Paramjit Gill: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} / {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} / {x-}
Allen Kessler: {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} / {j-Clubs}

Allen Kessler was at risk on fourth street after three-betting on third with a pair of aces and a six-trey low draw showing until fifth.

"How am I going to lose this one?" Kessler mentioned in table chat.

Paramjit Gill then made kings up and somehow, Kessler bricked both the low draw and superior two pair to finish in 32nd place.

Heimiller Eliminated by Shack-Harris

Level 19
Dan Heimiller
Dan Heimiller

Omaha Hi-Lo

The cards were already revealed as Dan Heimiller ended up at risk holding the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. He was dominated by the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} of Brandon Shack-Harris and found no help on the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts} board. Since no low played, the aces up of Shack-Harris won it all and sent Heimiller to the rail.

Woods Eliminated in Two Hands

Level 19
James Woods
James Woods

Stud Hi-Lo

James Woods: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} / {x-}
Qinghai Pan: {x-}{x-} / {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} / {x-}

James Woods pondered about calling the bet by Qinghai Pan on fifth and then did so with exactly 5,000 chips behind. Pan asked to see the stack of his opponent on the other side of the dealer, then they checked it down on sixth and seventh. Pan revealed the {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} for just the pair of fives and Woods missed it all with the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

James Woods: {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} / {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades} / {4-Diamonds}
Daniel Negreanu: {q-Spades}{7-Spades} / {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds} / {q-Hearts}
Leonard August: {7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts} / {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Woods was all-in the next hand and Daniel Negreanu bet fourth to seventh. Leonard August called and mucked his two pair when Negreanu announced a flush. Woods was drawing dead by then and headed to the payout desk.
