Assorted Counts and Bustouts

Level 13

Fewer than 100 players remain as the higher limits are starting to take a toll on the player field. However, more than half of the field will leave empty-handed without anything to show for as only the top 43 spots are getting paid.

Hilton Survives Five-Way Action

Level 13

Stud Hi-Lo

Robert Hilton: {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} / {3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Dan Heimiller: {x-}{x-} / {8-Hearts} fold
Jim Collopy: {x-}{x-} / {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} fold
Everett Carlton: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} / {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
David Williams: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

Robert Hilton was all-in for just 2,500 on third street and behind him, Dan Heimiller raised. Jim Collopy reraised and Everett Carlton made it four bets. David Williams called, Heimiller asked if he can raise and then folded while Collopy called. Carlton bet all the way for the rest of the board and Collopy folded on fourth while Williams stuck around and raised on seventh.

Carlton called with kings and queens while Williams said "good call," and revealed his six-low. Hilton had the wheel to scoop the main pot while the bigger side pot was split between Carlton and Williams.

Hartmann Wins Big Pot

Level 13

Limit Hold'em

The action was fast and furious preflop, with Todd Dakake, Paramjit Gill and Tony Hartmann all building a bit four-bet pot. After Dakake checked the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop, Hartmann continued and Gill called. Dakake folded, later announcing that he mucked pocket kings. Hartmann bet again and was called on the {7-Spades} turn and {j-Spades} river, before turning over {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} to scoop the big pot.

Hilton Eliminated by Collopy

Level 13

Stud Hi-Lo

Robert Hilton: {5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} / {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Spades} / {6-Hearts}
Jim Collopy: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} / {3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} / {7-Diamonds}

Robert Hilton bet on fourth street with few chips behind and Jim Collopy called to then check-call the shove by Hilton for the rest of it on fifth. Collopy made a pair of jacks on sixth and filled up to jacks and sevens eventually, while Hilton found no further help to bow out.

Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} / {x-}
Ari Engel: {x-}{x-} / {8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} / {x-}

Ari Engel and Daniel Negreanu both completed the bet to see fourth street, where Engel bet and Negreanu called. The action repeated until seventh street, when Engel checked and Negreanu bet. Engel took a minute before calling, and Negreanu showed {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for two pair. Engel mucked his hand, and Negreanu bolstered his stack with a big pot.

"Easy Game" for Filippi

Level 14
Amnon Filippi
Amnon Filippi

Seven Card Stud

Amnon Filippi: {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds} / {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} / {q-Diamonds}
Jose Paz-Gutierrez: {x-}{x-} / {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades} / {x-}

There appears to be a new chip leader as Amnon Filippi has ran up a massive stack. In the latest three-handed action he bet sixth street when he had a pair of queens showing. Jose Paz-Gutierrez was the only caller while James Milkowski folded.

Filippi also bet seventh and earned a call to flip over queens full of treys.

"Easy game. I started with king-trey-deuce and made queens full," Filippi said in table chat.
