Gross and Zyrin Make a Wheel

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jeff Gross raised to 110,000 on the button and was called by Anatolii Zyrin in the big blind. The flop came {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Zyrin check-called a bet of 80,000 from Gross.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and Zyrin checked again. Gross counted out a bet of 275,000 and Zyrin check-raised all in. Gross stuck in the rest of his stack and showed {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Zyrin turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for the same hand. Gross was free-rolling to three-quarters of the pot if a six came but it was the {9-Diamonds} as both players chopped the pot.

"I couldn't have got fucked there, right?" Gross questioned.

"No. You needed a few more cards before you could have gotten fucked," Josh Arieh replied.

Kupin Doubles Through Gross

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Aaron Kupin
Aaron Kupin

Aaron Kupin pushed his remaining chips into the middle on a flop of {2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and was called by Jeff Gross.

The hands were tabled and it was the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} held by Kupin that trailed the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} held by Gross.

The turn card {j-Diamonds} changed things and Kupin catapulted into the lead with trip jacks.

The river card {9-Spades} changed nothing, and Kupin secured a double up and chipped up to 600,000.

Josh Arieh
Josh Arieh

Josh Arieh raised to 100,000 on the button and Danny Chang defended from the big blind. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} and Chang check-called a bet of 150,000 from Arieh.

The turn brought the {6-Spades} and Chang checked again. Arieh fired out a bet of 300,000 and Chang stuck around to see the {q-Hearts} on the river. Chang checked for the third time and Arieh announced a pot-sized bet of 1,050,000. Chang quickly called but Arieh showed {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} for the nut-nut to scoop the entire pot.

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Adam Owen raised to 100,000 in early position and Danny Chang called from the big blind. The flop fell {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Chang led out with a bet of 110,000. Owen called and the {a-Hearts} rolled off on the turn.

Chang fired out another bet of 275,000 and Owen still called to see the {7-Spades} on the river. Chang instantly dropped a stack of chips in the middle and Owen went into the tank. Owen mumbled to himself a bit but eventually decided to lay it down.

Gross Doubles Through Arieh

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jeff Gross
Jeff Gross

Jeff Gross pushed his last remaining chips into the middle preflop and was called by Josh Arieh.

The hands were turned face up and it was the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} held by Gross versus the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} held by Arieh.

The dealer spread the flop of {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Gross remained in the lead with a pair of kings, but Arieh picked up a nut flush draw.

The turn card was the {2-Spades} and nothing changed.

The river card was the {6-Hearts} missed Arieh and Gross was awarded the hand and secured a double up with one pair of kings.

Arieh Scoops Another to Take the Lead

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Josh Arieh opened to 175,000 in middle position and Danny Chang called on the button. The two players saw a flop of {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Arieh checked to Chang who bet 200,000. Arieh called and the {8-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Arieh checked again and Chang fired out a bet of 420,000. Arieh still called and the {a-Spades} paired the board on the river. Arieh announced a pot-sized bet of 1,715,000 and Chang instantly called. Arieh turned over {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a full house and five-deuce for his low. Chang showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a flush and six-five for his low which meant Arieh scooped the entire pot.

Aaron Kupin
Aaron Kupin

Aaron Kupin opened to 175,000 in the hijack and Danny Chang called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Chang pushed in a stack of chips. Kupin was left with 280,000 and went into the tank for over three minutes before finally making the call.

Aaron Kupin: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Danny Chang: {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

The {2-Diamonds} on the turn gave Chang a straight and the best low hand. The {j-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Kupin was eliminated in seventh place.
