Duncan Rivers a Pair of Aces

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

PokerNews' own Nathan Duncan was kind enough to relay a hand that happened in Level 1.

He raised to 300 from under the gun and got called by the players in the early position, hijack, button, and small blind.

The flop came {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, the small blind checked and Duncan continued with a bet of 800. The only player who made the call was the hijack.

The turn was the {10-Hearts}, Duncan fired another 1,800 into the pot and was called.

The {a-Hearts} completed the board and Duncan barreled 4,000 over the line. His opponent called.

"Ace" Duncan said before showing the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for the rivered pair of aces.

"Of course you do" his opponent responded before revealing they had the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the pair of kings they had flopped.
