Uskach Gets it Through

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Michael Holtz opened under-the-gun to 8,000 and the hijack called, but then Dimitriy Uskach squeezed from the big blind and moved all in for 66,000.

Action was then back on Holtz, and known in most poker circles as a "nit" (an extremely tight player), did not defer from his tendencies and made the fold of what he later said was pocket sixes.

The hijack also folded and Uskach took down the pot.

Jason Stockfish

Pot-Limit Omaha

Three players got it all in preflop, including Rania Nasreddine and Jason Stockfish, who covered.

Rania Nasreddine: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Jason Stockfish: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts} which gave Nasreddine top set of queens, but the board completed with {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} to give Stockfish a nine-high straight with his five-eight.

Nasreddine and the other player were eliminated and Stockfish was awarded the massive pot which boosted his count to 760,000.

Geilich Makes Big Call and Immediately Rewarded

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of {2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Ludovic Geilich led out for 20,000 but then was immediately raised to 134,000 by his opponent. Geilich then went deep into the tank as he thought about his options.

After some considerable time, a player called the clock on him and the floor began a countdown of thirty seconds. As it reached zero, Geilich then moved all in and his opponent quickly called and the cards were tabled, with Geilich covering.

Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Ludovic Geilich: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

His opponent was technically in the lead with one pair and a flush draw, but Geilich had plenty of outs as he had a wrap, a backdoor nut flush draw, and two over cards.

The {6-Hearts} on the turn was the gin card for Geilich, as he hit both the straight and a heart to give him a flush draw. The river {q-Clubs} was a brick and Geilich won the pot and eliminated his opponent.
