Moshe Gets Tricky Against Stenholm

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

At the end of the last level, Asi Moshe defended his big blind against the raise of [Removed:153] and checked the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. Stenholm continued and called a check-raise to 95,000 by Moshe. The latter bet the {Q-Spades} turn for 165,000 and Stenholm let go.

Martinez Requena Busts to Zhang

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Chi Zhang raised from early position and called the shove of Raul Martinez Requena with ace-ten. The Spaniard showed pocket tens and was left with just one out after the {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and found no miracle to bust in 28th place. All remaining 27 players will now redraw to the last three tables.

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Jonathan Abdellatif
Jonathan Abdellatif

Jonathan Abdellatif was eliminated in the course of two hands.

In the first hand, Eric Cloutier raised to 40,000 in middle position and Abdellatif moved all in on the button. The blinds folded and Cloutier quickly called. Abdellatif had Cloutier covered, but not by much.

Cloutier: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Abdellatif: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {5-Clubs} and Cloutier doubled up, leaving Abdellatif very short.

The very next hand, Abdellatif went all in for 4,200 in the cutoff and was called by [Removed:153] in the big blind.

Abdellatif: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Stenholm: {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} {7-Spades} {A-Hearts} and Stenholm was eliminated in 27th place for a payout of $13,186.

Curt Kohlberg

After an early position raise, Vitor Rangel three-bet to 85,000 in middle position. Curt Kohlberg then moved all in for 335,000 in late position and it folded back around to Rangel. He called and had Kohlberg at risk.

Kohlberg: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Rangel: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

Kohlberg was in bad shape against Rangel's aces and the {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} sealed it. Kohlberg was eliminated, receiving $13,186 for his 26th-place finish.

Charalampos Lappas moved all in for 188,000 and Scott Margereson moved all in over the top out of the small blind. John Dolan in the big blind peeked at his cards and quickly called for fewer chips than Margereson.

Lappas: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Dolan: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Margereson: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Lappas was eliminated in 25th place for $13,186, while Dolan almost tripled up after doubling through Margereson for 262,000 total.

Sabat Takes from Armstrong

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Just a few minutes earlier, Asi Moshe three-bet out of the small blind and folded to the shove by Jamie Armstrong, who flashed the {2-Clubs}. "That's a good one, right?" Armstrong joked.

Armstron then opened to 35,000 and Eddy Sabat just called in the big blind. The duo checked the {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop and Sabat bet the {6-Spades} turn for 27,000, Armstrong called. On the {7-Diamonds} river, Sabat made it 80,000 to go and Armstrong reluctantly called. Sabat showed {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and Armstrong mucked {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} face up.
