Negreanu Gets a Big Knockout to Close in on the Chip Lead
No-Limit Hold'em
Daniel Negreanu opened from the cutoff with a raise to 2,500. He was called by one player on the button and Ian O'Hara in the big blind.
The flop came 
and O'Hara checked to Negreanu who put out a bet of 4,000. The player on the button called but O'Hara folded.
On the turn, Negreanu led out again, this time with a bet of 9,000. The button player called once more.
The river was the 
and Negreanu moved all in with a covering stack. This put the player in the button into the tank. He had close to 26,000 behind.
"Did I play the mixed tournament to bust in hold'em?" he asked himself. "Probably."
He then started to stare at Negreanu. "If I stare at you long enough, maybe you'll just give it away," he said. "I'm probably calling here, just give me a couple minutes to think about this guys."
While this was happening Negreanu just sat silently with a hand covering his mouth.
Eventually the player put in the chips to call. Negreanu immediately turned up 
for a flopped two pair that turned into a whole house.
The player tapped the table. "Alright, i'd like to go back to my old table with all the chips I just had," he said. He wished everyone luck and headed to the rail as Negreanu collected the chips and moved close to the chip leader spot at the end of the night.
