Kramer Takes on Moreno

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Adrian Moreno raised to 215,000 from the small blind and [Removed:172] called in the big blind. The flop came {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Moreno continued for 400,000, which Kramer called. On the {Q-Spades} turn, Moreno checked and Kramer bet 500,000 with around 1,300,000 behind.

That was good enough to force a fold from Moreno, who dropped to 23 big blinds.

Adrian Moreno Eliminated in 19th Place ($26,070)

Adrian Moreno
Adrian Moreno

Vlad Darie raised to 200,000 from the cutoff and Adrian Moreno, as well as [Removed:172] in the small blind, both called. The flop fell {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Kramer checked to Darie who continued for 350,000. Moreno raised to 850,000 and Kramer folded.

Darie moved all in and Moreno quickly called for the remainder of his stack.

Moreno: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Darie: {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The {Q-Hearts} turn gave Moreno trips, but Darie got there thanks to the {5-Clubs} on the river to eliminate Moreno in 19th place for $26,070.

Toby Price Eliminated in 18th Place ($26,070)

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Toby Price
Toby Price

Under the gun, Toby Price pushed his short stack toward the middle.

Alexandru Papazian was closing the action from the big blind and he found a hand worth calling the approximate 600,000-chip shove.

Price: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Papazian: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Price was alive, but the {2-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop significantly decreased his chances. Price needed runner-runner to survive but that possibility was already denied on the {4-Clubs} turn. The {J-Spades} river completed the board while Price was already asking the tournament staff about his final position.

He walked away in 18th place, earning $26,070.

Reyes Doubles Through Tureniec

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Ray Qartomy raised to 220,000 and Michael Tureniec called from the small blind. Jose Reyes moved all in for his last 970,000 in the big blind and Qartomy reluctantly folded while Tureniec called.

Reyes: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Tureniec: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

"I folded because I know how you play," Qartomy said, and the board came {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{A-Clubs} to see Reyes dodge both overcards and the flush draw in order to double.

Vivian Im Gets a Double from Michael Tureniec

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Vivian Im was the shortest stack in the break, and she shoved twice in a row early in the new level.

Her first shove got through when she moved all in from the small blind, earning a fold from Pablo Mariz in the big.

The next hand saw Im push all in again, and big blind Michael Tureniec asked for a count. He got 955,000 and called.

Unfortunately for Tureniec, his {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts} ran into {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

Im's better hand remained better all the way through the {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} board, leaving her with an important double.

Papazian and Darie in Charge

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Harry Lodge raised to 250,000 and Vlad Darie called in the small blind. [Removed:172] came along from the big blind as well. On the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop, all three players checked. The {10-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Darie bet 550,000 to force two folds.

Over on Table 5, Eric Baldwin made it 250,000 to go from under the gun and Alexandru Papazian called in the big blind. The {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop went check, check, and Papazian's bet of 420,000 on the {J-Spades} turn won the pot uncontested.

Diaz Cracks Aces to Double Through Qartomy

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Guillaume Diaz and Ray Qartomy
Guillaume Diaz and Ray Qartomy

Guillaume Diaz raised to 260,000 from the cutoff and Ray Qartomy three-bet for 400,000 on top from the button. The action folded to Diaz and he moved all in. Qartomy snap-called without asking for a count.

Diaz: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Qartomy: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

"Oh my god, he has aces," the Winamax rail said when the cards were tabled. Once the flop fell {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, they started celebrating and asking for a deuce. Both the {7-Diamonds} turn and the {9-Diamonds} river were blanks and Diaz' rail kept chanting while their favorite doubled for 3,265,000. Qartomy snapped a picture of the cards with his phone and was left with just over three big blinds.
