Jun Zheng (standing up) busts to Michael Hahn (seat 1)
Jun Zheng (standing up) busts to Michael Hahn (seat 1)

The bubble has burst in a rather anti-climactic fashion. It was the short-stacked Jun Zheng the man all-in for his tournament life from middle position with {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for his last 18,000 with Michael Hahn looking him up from two seats over with {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

While he had slightly the best of it, Zheng's final runout would come {8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{6-Spades}, with Hahn making the straight on the river to bring the 117 remaining players into the money and all are now guaranteed a payday of at least AU$3,687 (~$2,520).

Stan L
Stan L

in the previous level, Michael Hahn raised to 12,000 from under the gun. He was called by Stan L on the button as well as Julien Sitbon and Jun Zheng in the blinds.

All four players checked the {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} before the {2-Spades} dropped on the turn.

Sitbon led out for 13,500. Zheng called. Hahn then shoved all in for around 300,000 which had his opponents covered. Stan L called with 160,000 behind. Sitbon and Zheng got out of the way.

Stan L: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Hahn: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Stan L was in the perfect position to double with his set of deuces against Hahn's over pair.

Unfortunately for Stan L, the dealer produced the {k-} on the river, improving Hahn to a better set and the winning hand.
