Edwin Chiu has been flexing his big stack recently, with Billy 'the croc' Argyros deciding to take a stand to protect his blinds. Action folded around to Chiu in the small blind and he popped it up to 75,000, with Argyros moving all-in from the big blind for 529,000.
After much pontificating Chiu chose to lay it down, leaving Argyros free to scoop the pot and climb to 604,000. Chiu still has a mountain of chips in front of him with a stack of 3.9 million.
The orange 1k chips were raced off after the hand concluded.

The turn fell the and Rafferty fired out 85,000. Wright mucked shortly after.
A few hands later, Wright would get it all in holding pocket queens and running into Lior Segre's pocket kings, resulting in him hitting the rail.

Anish Kumar opened the action from the hijack with a raise to 65,000 with big blind John Duggan the only caller to take play heads-up to a flop of .
This saw Duggan check the action over to Kumar, who loaded up a 45,000 continuation bet, with Duggan making the call to bring the pair to the turn.
That was a far as the hand got, with Duggan check-folding when Kumar slid out a sizable tower of yellow 5k chips for a 125,000 second barrel, with the two both on similar stacks of 1 million after the hand.

An increasingly lively Billy 'the croc' Argyros will only be getting livelier after scoring a double-up through Edwin Chiu.
Before the hand was dealt Argyros asked Chiu nicely if he could get a double-up and, proving that manners pay off, that's exactly what happened.
It was Rehman Kassam who kicked off the action with a raise to 60,000 from the cutoff and Chiu slid out a stack of dark blue 100k chips for a re-raise of 1 million from the small blind.
Argyros peeked down at his hole cards and called all-in for his tournament life for 515,000 and Kassam took the hint and got out of the way.

Billy Argyros:
"Curly, I'm all-in!" shouted Argyros to Emmanuel 'curly' Seal, who wandered over to lend some moral support and the dealer spread a flop of .
"That's good, keep it low," said Argyros, and while the dealer did not quite comply, with the turn and
river, both were safe cards for Argyros and he climbed to 1,090,000 and Chiu was forced to cut a rampart from his chip castle and ship it over to drop to 3,300,000.

Hamish Crawshaw raised to 65,000 from middle position. Edwin Chiu then re-raised to 175,000 from the hijack. The action folded back around to Crawshaw, who thought for over a minute, before three-betting to 500,000. Chiu took just as long before making the call.
The flop came and Crawshaw fired out 225,000. Chiu took his time before matching the bet.
The turn dropped the and Crawshaw reached for his chips and slid out 450,000. Chiu then moved all in for around 2,400,000 which had Crawshaw well covered. Crawshaw mucked almost instantly.

Akshay Kapoor opened the action with a raise to 60,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet to the tune of 165,000 by Chao Duan on the button. Kapoor made the call to swell the pot to 330,000.
The flop came down and after mulling it over for a few seconds, Kapoor checked the action over to Duan. The Chinese player thought long and hard over the perfect bet sizing before deciding that 125,000 was the best amount, and Kapoor's cards quickly hit the muck leaving Duan free to scoop the sizable pot.
