Here's how H.O.R.S.E. is going to work. Eight hands of each game (hold'em, Omaha, etc.) will be dealt at each table before moving on the the next one in the rotation. Betting limits will go up after a full rotation of all five games is complete.
So, we'll begin with eight hands of limit hold'em with 75-150 blinds and betting limits of 150-300 before moving on to eight hands of Omaha 8-or-better, followed by eight hands each of razz, stud, and stud 8-or-better with a 25 ante, a 50 bring-in, and betting limits of 150-300.
Each "level" encompasses a full rotation of all five games and there will be a break every 100 minutes, regardless of what game players are on.
Mark Vos has come to play. I've just seen him win three big stud hands back to back and he is up to a healthy looking 14,000.
David Williams has just arrived late looking a little stressed out. He rushed to his seat, won a pretty big Omaha hand and rushed away from his seat again to find a waitress to get him a much needed mineral water.
There are eight small yellow plastic buttons on the poker tables. The dealers are using those to keep track of the number of hands that they are dealing. A new game is played after every eight hands. Betting levels are 100 minutes in length.
