James Keys Doubles Through Andreas Bergren

Andreas Bergren opened the pot, and James Keys moved all in for 52,000 from the button.

"What, do you have kings?" wondered Bergren aloud as he mulled his decision, finally deciding to call.

"I think we're racing" said Keys as he turned over his {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Indeed they were, with Bergren tabling {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

The flop was {Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, the turn was the {J-Hearts} and the river was the {Q-Hearts}, with Keys dragging the massive pot and doubling up to over 110,000. Bergren was left with 33,000.

Will Durkee Doubles Up; Antonius Loses Chiplead

Will Durkee playing on Day 2b
Will Durkee playing on Day 2b
Over at the featured TV table, Will Durkee clashed with Patrik Antonius. The young American won their first battle and knocked Antonius out of the top spot.

I picked up the action on the turn. The board read {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{K-Spades}. Will Durkee bet the pot, Patrik Antonius raised all in, and Dukee quickly called.

Durkee: {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Antonius: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Durkee was ahead with a straight, while Antonius had two pair. The river was the {9-Spades} and Durkee's straight held up. He doubled up against Antinus and increased his stack to over 200,000. Antonius slipped to 240,000 losing the chiplead in the process.

Erik Joergensen Eliminated by Daniel Negreanu

Over at the featured TV table, Erik Joergensen moved all in for 28,600 and Daniel Negreanu called.

Joergensen : {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Negreanu: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

The flop was {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Joergensen took the lead. The turn was the {J-Clubs} and Negreanu jumped back in the lead, but Joergensen picked up a nut flush draw. The river was the {8-Hearts} and Joergensen busted out. Negreanu took down the pot and increased his stack to 90,000.

Tabatabai Thought To Be Stealing

And who can blame Dominic Kay for re-raising the young player with his {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} preflop? This time, however, John Tabatabai instacalled all in with {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and doubled up to a healthier 62k.

Elsewhere Philip Hilm raced his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for his tournament life against RW Stain's {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, spiking on the flop and staying in his seat, while knocking his opponent back to an uncomfortable stack.

Table Kay in Full:

Dominic Kay -- 128,200
Andreas Bergren -- 27,300
Krzyzstof Gluszko -- 45,400
James Keys -- 146,000
Jon Turner -- 78,000
John Tabatabai -- 62,000
Jani Sointula -- 40,100

Andreas Bergren Doubles Through Jani Sointula

After a very rough start to his day, Andreas Bergren finally caught a bit of luck. He moved all in over the top of Jani Sointula's opening raise for 20,000 or so, Sointula insta-calling with {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and Bergren in bad shape with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. The flop, though was {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, instantly bringing Bergren a full house and leaving Sointula drawing thin. The turn was the {Q-Diamonds}, the river was the {8-Clubs}, and Bergren doubled up to 43,000.

Stephen Rynne Eliminated

Rynne Doesn't Wynne
Rynne Doesn't Wynne
After getting into a preflop raising war with Patrick Jouven, the final decision rested on Rynne, who was put to the test for all his chips. He eventually made the call, saying he was, "Gambling," but his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} was up against Jouven's {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. Two more Kings coming on the flop and river cemented the deal, and Rynne hit the rail.

Jeffrey Lisandro Busted Holding Aces...By Quads!

Lisandro: Even Aces don't beat quads
Lisandro: Even Aces don't beat quads
In what looked preflop like a cold deck for button Marco Traniello, he raised and then called big blind Lisandro's re-raise all in.

Lisandro showed: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} (He'd just prior to this doubled up with Aces, too - but "last time it was one red one black, now it's two red.")

Traniello showed: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

Flop: {2-Spades}{K-Spades}{4-Spades}
Turn: {K-Diamonds}
River: Completely irrelevant
